Welcome to Parkside Veterinary Centre. It's my great pleasure to show you around the surgery via this site. My good friends Barclay and Purdy will help too and if you ever get lost then just click on the header banner to come back here. 

Not only are we pleased to show our premises here...we are just as happy to show you around the practice if you ever want a real tour. Do call first because this is a busy practice. 

We are open 6 days a week for consultations and 24/7 emergency service. Afternoons are our best time for visits.

This site will try to show some of the equipment and facilities we have at Parkside and endeavour to give an idea of the type of work that does go on in contemporary veterinary practice. 

Where appropriate there are links to related sites to find simple answers to common problems but please do remember that internet information is no substitute for proper patient examination. Site updates may not allow for the newest knowledge and may not be totally appropriate for any specific case...things do change!

The philosophy of Parkside is simply that we try to make as accurate a diagnosis of your pet's problems as we can. As a result of our clinical examination we aim to give a guide to the value of additional tests or examinations and an understanding of the treatment options available. If the case cannot be handled in-house then we have the choice of sending additional tests to specialist contacts or referring the case on for further work. 

We hope folk will never feel awkward about asking questions or requesting an opinion from either another vet in the practice or elsewhere. Equally if you pet is under treatment already and you would like us to give an opinion we shall gladly do our best.
